In February, we decided the time was right to share our yarns with the public, which was hard because we’re knitters and crotchets too. After nearly two years of research, stress, and a lot of woolly fun, we were ready, and on March 5th we had our Pop-Up Shop event in downtown Toronto.
After all our hard work, we still had one question, “Is this a viable idea to pursue?” We were nervous and excited at the same time. Would anyone show up and if they did, how would they react to the idea of Canadian breed specific yarns - all with natural colours?
We were bowled over when people started lining up before we opened! We had a fantastic turnout. Everyone was thrilled with the idea, we got a lot of positive feedback, and insightful comments. We’re now ewe-sing (haha) those comments and feedback towards helping us with future yarn line decisions and expansions.
Needless to say we all had a great afternoon talking about yarns, projects, ideas, and generally getting to know our fellow crafters. Our Canadian knitting and crocheting communities are amazing and we value each and everyone of you. Thank You for your wonderful support!
